Who we are
Rent Solutions Inc. (“we”, “us”) provides property management and landlord–tenant services in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. This policy explains what personal information we collect through rentsolutions.ca and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you submit a sign-up, rent estimate, consultation booking, contact form, maintenance request or guide download, we collect the details you enter — such as your name, email, phone number, property or rental details and messages. Portal users also provide account and tenancy information. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card or bank numbers.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, provide and manage our services, process payments, send the emails you request (for example, a rent estimate or worksheet), follow up about your inquiry, and meet legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are visited and which forms are submitted. Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode without analytics cookies. We also use a small amount of browser storage to remember your cookie choice, keep you signed in to the portals, and note which page referred you to a form. We do not use advertising cookies.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run our business — including hosting, email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe) and analytics (Google) — and where required by law. These providers may store data outside Canada.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it.
Your choices
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or withdraw consent to marketing emails, at any time by contacting us. You can change your cookie choice using the button below.
